Respect can be earned exchange of Respect

At a wedding ceremony, a guest saw one of his primary school teachers. After a long time, he saw his childhood teacher and ran to him and said, “Sir, do you recognize me?”

That classmate cried and complained to you. And you told all the students to close their eyes and face the wall. Then you started checking one by one. I began to tremble with fear. Because the pen was in my pocket!

The embarrassment I would face after learning that I had stolen the pen, the idea that my teachers would get about me, the fact that everyone at school would call me a thief, and the reaction of my parents, made me want to die.

Then when it was my turn I felt you take the pen out of my pocket. But I was surprised to see that you are not saying anything but checking the pockets of the rest of the students!

Later when the search was over, you told us to open our eyes and tell everyone to sit down. I could not sit for fear. Because I thought you would call me a little later. No, you did not show the pen to everyone and returned it to the owner without saying anything!

You never told anyone that I stole the pen. And did not tell me anything!

Sir, you protected my dignity that day.

After this incident, I decided that I would never touch another person’s life again. “

“Sir, do you remember the incident now? You shouldn’t forget it!”

Sir replied, “Yes! I remember the incident very well. But I never knew in whose pocket the pen was found. Because, when I was checking everyone’s pockets, I deliberately closed my eyes like yours.”
